Nabaa chose to be an engineering leader with the belief that his work would have a great impact on society. He graduated from the University of Alberta, and quickly began to work to benefit his community and the environment at large. Since then, Nabaa has helped develop new petroleum manufacturing plant best practices that have been implemented across the global circuit. Additionally, he developed a new renewable energy technology that has received $12 million in government funding to date. As a result of his efforts, he was recognized by Starfish Canada as one of Canada’s Top 25 Under 25 Environmental Leaders. His work extends to the not-for-profit sector as well; he founded the Canadian Senior Care Association, an organization that connects senior citizens with millennials for a variety of activities ranging from yoga to computer lessons. At 24, Nabaa has made huge strides in his community and career, as his not-for-profit and environmental achievements continue to grow.
