Marty Cwach, 39
Senior Product Manager – Sensors, Turck, Minneapolis
BS Industrial Engineering, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology
Marty has always enjoyed breaking down and solving problems. He finds solving the ongoing challenges from customers and applications rewarding. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. Since Marty joined Turck in 2008, he has demonstrated precise attention to application detail and custom engineering. This approach helped him grow his career with the company, leading to his current role as senior product manager. In his current position, Marty is constantly thinking about every variable of product design: the customer, engineering, business impact, and lifecycle of a product. On one of his projects, Marty wrote clear marketing and technical requirements, and then coordinated with the R&D team to deliver prototypes in a few months for customer evaluations. This effort accelerated the customer’s implementation of the design. Outside of work, Marty loves to work on cars. He has even spent time working on NASCAR racecars. Marty’s determination and ambition extends far beyond engineering and racecars; he, along with his siblings, ran a 5k to honor a sibling who had passed away.
