An affinity for math and problem solving originally drew Josh to the engineering field, and his talent for numbers and ability to find creative solutions continue to be a core part of his success. Josh’s leadership abilities were recognized while he was attending Southern Illinois University on a golf scholarship. After completing an ATS technical leadership program, he started work as a Quality Inspector. In just 2 years, he was supervising teams. He has led an operational excellence project involving customer operations, where he spearheaded a rapid improvement group that eliminated a manufacturing process step, shaving 2 minutes off process cycle time, which yielded $100,000 in savings. Other professional achievements include a scrap cost reduction initiative that yielded approximately $70,000 in annual savings. In his spare time, Josh is involved in mentoring fellow millennials at his church, as well as coaching the church softball team. An avid golfer, Josh plays whenever work and other activities allow. He looks forward to using his analytical skills and capacity to drive positive change as an engineer for years to come.
