Elizabeth Kokesh, 31
Senior Maintenance & Reliability Professional, Cargill, Hopkins, Minn.
BS Chemical Engineering, University of Minnesota, Duluth
Elizabeth is a fan of a challenge. Just this summer, she had three triathlons scheduled. Her passion to extend herself and go outside the norm fit naturally into a career as a continuous improvement engineer. After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Elizabeth began her career as a production supervisor at Ecolab. There she was exposed to operations and team leadership. She then became a continuous improvement engineer where she implemented new technologies and facility improvements. Currently, she works as a Senior Maintenance and Reliability Professional with Cargill. She leads and trains end users on Cargill’s new SAP Plant Maintenance solution and works with facilities to implement necessary reliability processes. Outside of work, she is a volunteer with Treehouse, an organization which helps troubled teenagers work through difficult situations in their lives. One of Elizabeth’s talents is her ability to see potential within a person, team, or process both inside and outside of the office. She has a steadfast faith in others paired with an innovative mindset, so her ability to teach and enable others comes naturally.
