Casey Noonan, 28

Project Manager, Industrial Automation Group, Modesto, Calif.

BS Electrical Engineering, Sacramento State University

Casey became an engineer because of the ubiquity and the utility of the industry. “I chose this career path as it is so energizing to be on the forefront of technology and improve processes using automation. I also love the fact that as a controls engineer I help feed America." He graduated with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Sacramento State University. It took Casey less than a year of working at Industrial Automation Group to land one of the company’s largest projects. The project proved to be highly successful for the customer and Industrial Automation Group thanks to Casey and his team’s diligence. Casey also works hard on the slopes, as he is an avid snowboarder. After a few challenging runs, nothing pleases him more than curling up for a drink by the fire with family and friends. When not catching air, Casey enjoys running, competing in multiple races throughout the year, and being competitive in his kickball league. Besides being a driven controls engineer, Casey is happiest in spending time with his wife, Jackie, and his labradoodle, Duncan.
