The Engineering Workforce Commission (EWC) of the American Association of Engineering Societies has just released a new product created specifically for engineers looking for specific salary information.
The “Personal Salary Profile” includes customized data based upon level of education, years of experience, supervisory status, engineering industry, and geographic region. The report then provides a total of 12 salary figures, including the upper decile, upper quartile, median, lower quartile, lower decile, and mean salary for the industry and geographic region. All of the statistics are derived from the EWC’s Engineers’ Salaries: Special Industry Report 1998. The report is faxed to the customer and followed up with a mailed copy.
