Vision-guided robotic inspection system that provides both automated inspection and decision making via an exclusive process monitoring tool. The inspection system utilizes an ST Robotics R12 articulated robot arm and a high-density camera and precision algorithms. The robotic system can inspect 100% of parts, thereby eliminating the traditional sampling method. It can make multi-dimensional, high-speed measurements to 0.001 in. It also features graphical user interfaces (GUI), requires very little training, can be used for multiple parts, consumes a small manufacturing footprint, and can sort and package.
