The Symmetra PX three-phase UPS from American Power Conversion Corp. is a modular UPS system that can scale up to 500kW. The unit offers 25kW double conversion online inverter power modules, extended life hot-swap batteries, a side-mounted maintenance bypass panel, and a touch-screen user interface. The entire system can fit in the same row as IT equipment or against a wall to save floor space in a data center. Automated, predictive diagnostic capabilities, increased overload capacity, and fast firmware upgrades help increase the reliability of the data center.
