The pneumatically assisted torque arm features a pneumatic cylinder to assist movement of heavy tools. The torque arm maintains tool location while facilitating smooth movement of assembly tools in both up-down motion and 180-degree, side-to-side motion. The arm’s design absorbs torque, and the torque arm accommodates inline pneumatic or inline electric drivers with maximum weights of 10 pounds and maximum torques up to 150 pound force per inch. Mountable to bench tops via bolts or bench clamps, the end-of-arm tool holders allow the user a full grip of the driver with no pinch points.
