The AEGIS SGR split-ring bearing protection, specified for both NEMA and IEC motors, prevents hearing damage by channeling shaft currents to ground. Conductive micro fibers create a path of least resistance to the motor frame. Applications include providing clearance for shaft shoulders, slingers, and other bell-end protrusions while protecting bearings from electrical damage caused by circulating or shaft currents. The ring kits fit NEMA-frame motors with shaft diameters of 0.625 to 3.375 inches and IEC-frame motors with shaft diameters of 19 to 95 millimeters. Electro Static Technology www.est-aegis.com
