The EPM 1500 single-point and EPM 4500 multi-pointsubmetering systems are engineered for retrofit and new construction with power-linecommunication capability, and offer commercial, residential and industrialproperty owners who are currently "master metered" the ability to divide energycharges or monitor usage with an easy-to-use, revenue grade energy/demand datalogging meter. Both meters allow owners/users to manage, maintain and billelectric, water and gas usage directly from their system. The meters are equippedwith easy-to-read front LCD display, IECE optical port and fuse block and CTshorting assembly. They feature single-wall-mountable, tamper resistant, rugged,
metal enclosures that can be installed quickly.

The submetering systems provide local, real-time viewing for

each phase of voltage, current, power factor, phase angle, Watts,

kVAR, kVA and frequency. The systems offer event reporting with time-and-date

stamps regarding consumption, demand resets, power ups/downs and time changes.

The non-volatile flash memory with backup battery retains daily and interval

metering data during power outages.

The EPM 4500 provides standard communication over two-way power-linecommunications, where the ac power lines act as the communication medium, suitable for retrofit applications where placing new communication lines can bedifficult and expensive. Data can be retrieved using software. The EPM 1500submetering system is available in numerous packages for either kWh or demandapplications as 120/208 V or 277/480 V ranges with either solid- or split-coreCTs. The EPM 4500 is offered in 120/208 V, 120/240 V delta, 277/480 V, 480 Vdelta or 347/600 V. Other packages for the EPM 4500 are available for 480 V or600 V with solid- or split-core applications.
