The RR-3 is a single-application remote racking system that allows technicians to remotely install and remove the circuit breaker from a safe distance of up to 300 feet while remaining stationed outside the arc-flash boundary.
The RR-3 is a single-application remote racking system for General Electric (GE) Type PowerBreak II circuit breaker. The RR-3 is designed for circuit protection, limiting arc-fault energy, and preserving system coordination in power systems. The RR-3 allows technicians to remotely install and remove the circuit breaker from a safe distance of up to 300 feet while remaining stationed outside the arc-flash boundary. Installing and operation does not require modifications to the existing electrical equipment because of the magnetic latching system. This RR-3 is compatible with 800, 1600, 2500, 3000, and 4000 A Type PowerBreak II circuit breakers.

Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.
