The i.MX 6 COMBO Series is a scalable multi-core platform that is designed for applications which require high performance in low power or a thermally constrained environment. The I.MX 6 has power-efficient processing capabilities with bleeding edge 3D and 2D graphics, as well as high definition video. The projective capacitive touch screen has a anti-scratch surface with 7H hardness protection, and the 10-point multi-touch supports a full set of gestures such as zooming in/out, panning, or rotating. The cable-less platform is also designed with an IP65 rated front panel housed in a plastic bezel and features all required interfaces for industrial application. One SMA antenna interface can provide optional WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G/4G function via a full-size mini PCIe socket. The aluminum extrusion back cover is good for thermal dissipation, and the fan-less design ensures silent operation.
