The Orbit 1000 rotary cleaning system is equipped with touchscreen controls, a 1,000-pound capacity turntable and powered opening and closing of the wash chamber cover. Its gearmotor-driven turntable holds a 42-inch-diameter stainless-steel round, wire mesh basket that has a loading height of 31.4 inches. It has a 65x77 inch footprint and stands 55 inches tall with the lid closed. The slowly rotating table is surrounded on three sides by spray bars fitted with high-impact, V-pattern jets to facilitate spray and flushing action to remove surface contaminants.

Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.

But the year started with global economic turmoil, as a slowdown in Chinese manufacturing triggered a worldwide stock hiccup that sent values plummeting. The continued plunge in world oil prices has resulted in a slowdown in exploration and, by extension, the manufacture of exploration equipment.
