The RSA-161A actuator, designed for all 3-in. handle versions of the Type L circuit breaker mechanisms, operates circuit breakers or interrupters of 75-250A at up to 600V. It allows technicians to safely operate the breakers while stationed outside of the arc-flash hazard boundary without any modification to the breaker.
When accompanied by a remote switch operator (RSO) control unit, the RSA-161A reduces the need for arc-flash suits and eliminates all hazardous manual contact with gear during operation by providing operation from up to 300 feet away. It is lightweight, portable, and easy to install and set up.
