Remote HMI application available on app store
The C-more remote HMI application is available on the iTunes App Store and does not require third party remote desktop VNC-type applications.
AutomationDirect’s new C-more remote HMI application is available through the iTunes App Store and provides remote access and control to mobile users who have a Wi-Fi or cellular connection. A C-more panel with remote connectivity is required, and unlike similar apps in the market, the C-more Remote HMI app does not require third party remote desktop VNC-type applications. Multilevel Logon Security is provided for up to three remote access user accounts that are configured and stored in the panel project. Multilevel access control allows each of the user accounts to be configured in one of three levels of access: full control access, view only access, and view and screen change only access.

2012 Salary Survey
In a year when manufacturing continued to lead the economic rebound, it makes sense that plant manager bonuses rebounded. Plant Engineering’s annual Salary Survey shows both wages and bonuses rose in 2012 after a retreat the year before.
Average salary across all job titles for plant floor management rose 3.5% to $95,446, and bonus compensation jumped to $15,162, a 4.2% increase from the 2010 level and double the 2011 total, which showed a sharp drop in bonus.
