Planning perfected: JDA Software and Oliver Wight team for next-gen S&OP
JDA Software will incorporate methodology and consulting processes offered by Oliver Wight to increase the overall performance of JDA 's sales & operations planning (S&OP) solutions.
Expansion of JDA’s S&OP solution will include an executive workbench to further facilitate the S&OP review and management process.
Says Dennis Groves, chairman of Oliver Wight Americas, “Oliver Wight continues to lead the transformation of S&OP from a simple supply-demand balancing exercise to a process that integrates all aspects of a business in delivering a company’s strategic objectives. But implementing a successful S&OP process within an organization requires a triumvirate approach, balancing people, processes and innovative technology. Through this alliance, JDA and Oliver Wight can leverage respective proficiencies to deliver a well-rounded S&OP solution that fills gaps that other vendors do not fully address.”
