Motion and control system manufacturer Parker Hannifin is providing online access to an expanded library of 2-D and 3-D CAD drawings of its products through an extension of its partnership with ThomasNet.com. The company’s newest online offerings include millions of new CAD models from its Veriflo Division, which manufactures precision valves, regulators and surface mount components for the chemical, petrochemical and semiconductor industries. Users can download pre-drawn CAD models of Parker components and products, allowing direct insertion into their own designs using any major CAD software system, eliminating the need to obtain dimensions or redraw the parts.

“Our partnership with ThomasNet.com allows engineers to focus on the bigger picture when creating new designs,” said Rich Sachwitz, business development director for Parker Hannifin. “Engineers are constantly searching for ways to speed the design process and reduce design costs.”

Parker Hannifin’s CAD library is accessible through cad.thomasnet.com .
