NEMA 1 drives
Higher power, enhanced NEMA 1 drives are now available from Lenze-AC Tech in up to 30 hp for use in VFD applications and in environments requiring inverter technology. Features include programmable digital input, RS-485 communications terminals, and an enhanced keyboard. The units incorporate four operational modes as well as high starting torque, auto-tuning, advanced low-speed control, and dynamic speed regulation. One model also includes a manufacturer's electronic programming module, enabling multiple drives to be programmed quickly. Input voltages range from 120 VAC, 1-phase, to 600 VAC, 3-phase.

Annual Salary Survey
In a year when manufacturing continued to lead the economic rebound, it makes sense that plant manager bonuses rebounded. Plant Engineering’s annual Salary Survey shows both wages and bonuses rose in 2012 after a retreat the year before.
Average salary across all job titles for plant floor management rose 3.5% to $95,446, and bonus compensation jumped to $15,162, a 4.2% increase from the 2010 level and double the 2011 total, which showed a sharp drop in bonus.
