NEBB conference sessions scheduled

The National Environmental Balancing Bureau features presentations and technical sessions at its annual conference.

The National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) will hold its 2008 Annual Meeting and Educational Conference at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, 2008.

Technical and informational sessions will feature presentations by industry experts on various topics related to the NEBB disciplines. Speakers including Bruce Turkel, nationally recognized brand expert; Eric Hancock of Belimo; Gene Klingbeil, Filtration Group; and R. Vijayakumar, AERFIL.

Turkel will address the opening session on Friday, Oct. 31. Hancock will present Applying Pressure Independent Control Valves in Hydronic HVAC Systems. Klingbeil’s presentation will cover Successful Application and Repair of Filters. And finally, Vijayakumar will present Bleedthrough: History, Causes, and Possible Solutions.

In addition, the NEBB technical committees will offer seminars on Application of Fume Hood Testing Requirements, Acoustic Case Studies and Acoustic Measurement Demonstration, Maximizing NEBB Marketing Tools for Your Business, and Introduction to Electrical Envelope and Special Electrical Commissioning.

Invited guest speakers are: ASHRAE president Bill Harrison, and Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) president-elect Lonnie Coleman.
