Standard-E motors have efficiencies raised to meet EPAct requirements. In addition, temperature rise is lower than present motors for longer life, they are balanced to half of the allowable NEMA vibration limit to run quieter, torques exceed NEMA limits, and low starting currents allow the use of smaller starters.
