Magsoft Corp. has entered into a partnership agreement with Schneider Electric. Both companies have worked together closely for more than 15 years.

Magsoft’s flagship product is Flux, which is general purpose Computer-Aided Engineering [CAE] simulation software that allows users to virtually prototype electromagnetic or electro-mechanical devices. Flux will be the global standard for Schneider Electric’s electromagnetic analysis. Schneider Electric will have unlimited access to the Flux technology, and according to Claude Ricaud, Senior VP of Science and Technology “Sharing R&D efforts seamlessly between our centers all over the world will increase our R&D efficiency and responsiveness. This co-design capability will also give us stronger innovation potential.”

“We too are very excited about this new partnership, and it will certainly be a strong catalyst for sustaining our future software development efforts. One major goal that we have is to provide the building blocks necessary to couple to complementary tools available in the marketplace thus improving connectivity and interoperability. Multi-physics transient simulation solutions are now a must for improving the energy efficiency of devices. We can certainly see this on the horizon,” said Philippe Wendling, VP of Magsoft Corp.
