Heavy Metal CNC machining centers include four- and five-axis horizontal units that range from 500- to 1,500-millimeter square pallets. Their beds feature a patented, cast-metal rigidity for thermal stability, and they are available with a variety of milling spindles, including ultra-high, torque-geared units to high-speed, direct-drive spindles. The machining centers are capable of handling large bending moments at the tool taper interface up to 35,000-inch/pounds.
