Cooper Notification’s Wheelock Exceder LED Series produces high-fidelity sound output for indoor wall-mount applications where intelligible voice is required. The LED speaker has a frequency response from 300 to 8000 Hz, and the speaker strobes have intelligible messages in a clear, crisp tone. They also have tone signaling for emergency communications, mass notifications, and voice evacuation. The wider frequency range allows the speaker to reproduce frequencies closer to the original sound, which improves the clarity and comprehension of the intended message. Other features include dual voltage (25/70 VRMS) for faster installation, five field-selectable tap settings (1/8 to 2 W), four field-selectable candela settings, and mounting options for new and retrofit construction.
