Elgin, IL – The new M12 microFX range of components extends the fiber optic industrial Ethernet offerings of Harting Technology Group . The microFX range consists of active transceivers with diagnostic function for optical data transmission up to 125 MBit/sec, for industrial Ethernet and for the corresponding connectors for multi-mode glass fiber.In addition to the two optical contacts for the data transmission, two electrical contacts for the power supply of devices linked by the microFX are integrated into the connector. Passive coupling units complete the component offering. In addition, pre-assembled custom-built harnesses are also available.Proven M12 technology helps provide cost effective integration of optical interfaces with IP65 or IP67 protection, especially useful for securing data transmission for devices designed for applications in an industrial or other hazardous environments.For more about Harting from Control Engineering , read:
