SB Series by AAONAAON SB Series water-source/geothermal heat pump indoor self-contained units (3 to 18 tons) are designed with a double-wall rigid polyurethane foam injected cabinet construction of the SB Series, saving operating costs with reduced air leakage and a higher thermal resistance. Variable capacity scroll compressors and electronically commutated motor-driven variable speed direct drive backward curved plenum fans allow the unit to operate as a energy-saving Single Zone VAV system that modulates fan speed and airflow based on the space temperature and compressor capacity based on the supply air temperature, during both cooling and heating operation.

Looks like a great product for our industry.

We have the Similar Heat Pump RTU w/ Mixed Air used on a project that is 10 months past due to be completed & the AAON Rep cannot seem to make these Units operate correctly to Control SA Temp, nor do they offer reliable operation.

Annual Salary Survey

Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.

There were the big events for the year, including the United States as Partner Country at Hannover Messe in April and the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago in September. There's also the matter of the U.S. presidential elections in November, which promise to shape policy in manufacturing for years to come.

But the year started with global economic turmoil, as a slowdown in Chinese manufacturing triggered a worldwide stock hiccup that sent values plummeting. The continued plunge in world oil prices has resulted in a slowdown in exploration and, by extension, the manufacture of exploration equipment.
