American Industrial Systems’ Design for Manufacturability Services (DMS) for the development of Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems that conform to a series of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards and certifications. The EMC standards and approvals that AIS’s HMIs and operator interface terminals now test and certify for the following requirements: FCC Part15 Subpart B, ICES 003, CISPR 22, and IEC EN 61000 series (IEC 61000-3-3, IEC 61000-4-2, IEC 61000-4-3, IEC 61000-4-4, IEC 61000-4-5, IEC 61000-4-6, IEC 61000-4-11, and IEC 61000-6-4) Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Requirements and Standards.

The AIS DMS performs both emission and immunity measurements in accordance with the EMC standards. It also has been continuously tested for additional methods, procedures, and capabilities for hazards-based safety engineering (HBSE) as well as UL61010-1 and CAN/CSA-C22.2 safety requirements and standards.
