High power connections
Rhino-Hide 49 Series single-pole connection products for high-amperage power applications are designed to withstand punishing environmental conditions and severe temperature extremes. The connection products consist of male and female plugs, connectors, receptacles, insulators and contacts and accessory products such as clevis pins, receptacle castings dust cover caps, gaskets and covers. These connection products are designed to deliver up to 1,000 V %%MDASSML%% either ac or dc %%MDASSML%% and up to 1,135 A through cables ranging in size from 313 MCM through 777 MCM.
This line of products are compatible with single-pole products from other leading manufacturers. Plugs, connectors and receptacles are color-coded for fast visual identification of circuits and phase connections. Cables attach to the contacts using standard crimp tools.

Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.
There were the big events for the year, including the United States as Partner Country at Hannover Messe in April and the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago in September. There's also the matter of the U.S. presidential elections in November, which promise to shape policy in manufacturing for years to come.
But the year started with global economic turmoil, as a slowdown in Chinese manufacturing triggered a worldwide stock hiccup that sent values plummeting. The continued plunge in world oil prices has resulted in a slowdown in exploration and, by extension, the manufacture of exploration equipment.
