July 9, 2014

The Global Automation and Manufacturing Summit Webinar series, sponsored by Hannover Fairs USA and produced by CFE Media, will preview topics that will be presented at the 2014 Summit on Sept. 10, part of the Industrial Automation North American pavilion at the 2014 IMTS Show in Chicago Sept. 8-13.

The two keynote speakers at this year’s event will discuss their presentations and talk about issues related to manufacturing excellence. They include:

"The Building Blocks of Manufacturing Excellence"

Mick Wilz (Sur-Seal)
Monday, July 14, starting at 1p.m. CDT

Expanding your manufacturing facility isn’t usually something that becomes a team project with all of your employees engaged. One Cincinnati manufacturer shows that employee engagement with such a project is like building a new facility; it happens one brick at a time.

"The 2014 McGladrey Monitor"

Karen Kurek (McGladrey LLP)
Thursday, July 17, starting at 9:30 a.m. CDT

Karen Kurek, principal at McGladrey and head of its manufacturing practice, will discuss their exclusive Manufacturing Monitor Report for the first time since its August release and highlight the trends and challenges for manufacturing in the next two years.
