Fluke acquires Infrared Systems

Fluke Electronics Corp., Everett, WA, has agreed to acquire Infrared Solutions, a provider of portable thermography products. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Plymouth, MN, Infrared Solutions is privately owned and recognized as an innovator in the application of infrared technology for commercial and industrial use.

Fluke Electronics Corp., Everett, WA, has agreed to acquire Infrared Solutions, a provider of portable thermography products.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Plymouth, MN, Infrared Solutions is privately owned and recognized as an innovator in the application of infrared technology for commercial and industrial use. The company designs, manufactures and sells an array of thermal imaging products for applications across a number of channels including predictive and preventive maintenance. The company’s products include the IR FlexCam and IR InSight, which are portable thermographic cameras with advanced reporting software.

Fluke expects the transaction to close during the fourth quarter of 2005, following satisfaction of certain customary closing conditions.
