Ethernet diagnostics

IntraVUE 2 is the next generation of software aimed specifically at the issues facing Ethernet deployment in process or discrete manufacturing applications. Developed to assist individuals who are not network experts, but require a method to quickly identify the typical problems that can create loss of production data or even a process shutdown, the latest version couples major performance improvements with new diagnostic features. The enhanced diagnostics are designed to provide a rapid method of identifying misbehaving devices or poor connections before they can disrupt processes. The new version has features that allow identification of common plant floor Ethernet problems, such as broadcast storms or intermittent ARPing; duplicate addresses; poor or failing connections; and misbehaving devices.
