Digi International has been accepted into Rockwell Automation’s Encompass Program, a third-party product referencing program that helps Rockwell Automation customers find best-in-industry technologies compatible with Rockwell Automation products.

The Digi Connect WAN family of industrial cellular routers has been recognized as best-in-class by Rockwell Automation. These products include wireless routers/gateways that provide connectivity to remote sites and devices via cellular (GSM/CDMA) networks for primary and backup network connectivity.

“Our technology has particular appeal to industrial automation users, and we are pleased to be recognized as best-in-class for providing remote site connectivity for Rockwell industrial automation devices,” said Larry Kraft, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Digi International. “For years, companies have struggled to cost-effectively monitor and manage their remote sites and devices. Our recently launched cellular product line makes it easy to connect hard-to-reach sites and devices, as well as provide cost-effective backup device network connectivity. This helps companies to dramatically increase the productivity of their remote assets, save time and reduce cost of operation and maintenance.”
