A low-cost turbine retrofit precision balances injector gases to provide lean combustion in all engine operating modes. Light-off on the engine is softer than in stock form. The system requires an exchange of fuel injectors and mounts, and slight modification to the combustion chambers. Turbines are able to burn gas, diesel, and low grade fuels, such as flare gas; and reduce emissions below 40 ppm.
