As for relieving some of that stress you place on your eyes, perhaps a little adjustment to your viewing area will help. Many web sites are still designed such that control of the typeface (font and size) remains in the hands of the users. Take advantage of this by setting your typeface preference to something that you feel is comfortable to your viewing needs. Similar to disk cache settings, finding the exact location of where to adjust typeface settings is different in each browser. In Netscape 4.0 or higher, look under Edit/Preferences and select Appearance. For older versions of Netscape, look under Options/General Preferences. Internet Explorer actually provides a font size adjustment on its toolbar (version 3.0).

For more information on setting the preferences of your specific browser, check out the online help for each browser under the Help menu.
