CFE Media LLC, ACG to provide building systems content to consulting engineers
CFE Media LLC and the AABC Commissioning Group have formed a partnership to deliver specialized content for consulting engineers and engineering professionals, exchanging and promoting such content to include videos, articles, and other industry updates.
CFE Media LLC (CFE) and the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) have formed a partnership to deliver specialized content for consulting engineers and engineering professionals looking for building commissioning information, training, and updates.
“ACG gives CFE the additional expertise in the critical area of the building commissioning process, from a valuable association in this arena. The partnership is in line with CFE’s strategy to provide the right information, to the right audience, at the right time, and we look forward to providing our audiences with information that can help them do their jobs better,” said Steve Rourke, CEO, CFE Media.
The partnership will focus on providing a complete breadth of information across functional and departmental and application needs specifically related to the unique needs of professionals who deliver independent new- and existing-building commissioning and energy management services.
”There is clear value to both ACG and CFE Media from this partnership, which will help keep the engineering community up to date on important developments in the commissioning arena,” said ACG Executive Director Ray Bert. “Many consulting and specifying engineers also provide commissioning services, and even those that don’t must increasingly work as part of commissioning teams for both new and existing buildings, and for projects seeking LEED accreditation. By sharing our certified members’ expertise, as well as emphasizing the central importance of independent commissioning to ensuring that building systems function properly, this agreement will contribute to a better understanding of commissioning and better building performance.”
As part of the agreement, CFE Media and ACG will exchange and promote content including videos, articles, and other industry updates. The marketing partnership will enable both groups to provide content and audience generation for suppliers aiming to reach this critical audience.
About ACG: The AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) is a nonprofit association of certified commissioning authorities, dedicated to the advancement of professional, independent commissioning services through education, training, and certification of qualified architects and engineers. ACG is the only commissioning certification body that insists that its certified members be independent of manufacturers, general and installing contractors and others in the contractual chain of command, to ensure that building owners have an advocate without conflicts of interest.
