Problem: Drilling holes into drywall, concrete, or other wall materials makes a big mess. How can I catch generated dust and cut cleanup time.

Solution: After marking the hole locations, take a 3 X 5-in. self-stick note and fold it lengthwise into a trough shape, with the sticky side out. Attach your creation to the wall under the drill mark to serve as a dust catcher. After drilling, pinch the ends, remove, and discard (or reuse) the catcher.
