Bus coupler

The Modbus TCP/UDP bus coupler incorporates eight digital inputs, four digital outputs and a built-in Ethernet switch. The coupler uses BootP to assign IP addresses. Measuring 80 mm wide, it includes a Modbus RTU/ASCII bus coupler and incorporates an RS-485 D-SUB connection for Modbus communications. Both new bus couplers feature diagnosis and multiple UL approvals and the backplane expansion module expands the local bus onto a second rail within the control cabinet.
