Brushless servo motors get new controller

Quicksilver Controls’ SilverSterling OEM line of drives designed for NEMA 11, 17, and 23 frame brushless servo motors, dc brush motors, voice coil actuators.

Quicksilver Controls Inc. (QCI) added SilverSterling OEM line of drives, for NEMA 11, 17, and 23 frame brushless servo motors, dc brush motors and voice coil actuators, providing a 5A RMS continuous drive with 7 A peak at 12 V to 48 V. The SilverSterling provides RS-485 and CAN communications ports, supporting DMX, MODbus RTU, and CANopen, ASCII and binary protocols. OEM expansion is provided via a 60 Pin header with support for a second serial port, two SPI ports, an I2C port, and multiple analog, digital and PWM I/O.
