AWWA heads to Phoenix for annual event

The American Water Works Association’s annual DSS Conference and Exposition will be held Sept. 17-20 at the PhoenixConvention Center and the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, promising information and exhibits on the best in water system distribution, engineering, and plant operations issues. The event is part of the AWWA’s 125thanniversary celebration.

The DSS conference is designed to address the most pressing issues facing water distribution, engineering, and plant operations professionals. The conference will feature leaders in the industry, offering views on how to make the most of new technology and products, manage personnel effectively, and increase system security.

Attendees will see and hear about the very latest advances in water distribution, engineering, and plant operations that can help you find solutions to some of your system’s biggest challenges.

DSS also provides hands-on interaction with the newest products and services at the DSS Exposition. Manufacturer and service provider representatives will demonstrate product applications, explain services provided, and discuss the latest advances in the field.

The event is open to plant managers and engineers, field personnel and anyone involved in drinking water distribution and plant operations. Attendees can also earn contact hours at most sessions to help meet certification requirements. Workshops will focus on the latest information in the water distribution system, engineering, and plant operations. Free proceedings will be available on CD-ROM for full-conference and student registrants
