2014 AHR Expo announced
The 66th AHR Expo is scheduled for Jan. 21-23, 2014, in New York City. More than 55,000 attendees and 2,000 companies are expected for the event.
The 2014 AHR EXPO (66th International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition) is the world's largest trade show designed exclusively for the HVAC/R industry. It is being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York, NY from Jan. 21-23, 2014. More than 55,000 attendees are expected and 2,000 companies are expected to be in attendance. More than 100 seminars and educational sessions are planned as well as demonstrations of new products, ideas, and services.
Special show features for the 2014 AHR EXPO include a building automation and control showcase, a software center, new product and technology theater presentation, an AHR EXPO innovation awards presentation, and an ASHRAE Winter Conference being held concurrently with the AHR EXPO.

Annual Salary Survey
In a year when manufacturing continued to lead the economic rebound, it makes sense that plant manager bonuses rebounded. Plant Engineering’s annual Salary Survey shows both wages and bonuses rose in 2012 after a retreat the year before.
Average salary across all job titles for plant floor management rose 3.5% to $95,446, and bonus compensation jumped to $15,162, a 4.2% increase from the 2010 level and double the 2011 total, which showed a sharp drop in bonus.
