Why a career in manufacturing?

“My mom worked in the HR department at a manufacturing company in upstate New York, and I’ve always been intrigued by the industry and the ability to be a part of creating something. Eventually, I started working at a manufacturing plant in college. I found the work so rewarding, I decided to put my education on hold to concentrate on a career in manufacturing. Also, as a kid, I couldn’t get enough of taking apart toys and cars and rebuilding them. The idea of integrating this ability into a career played a big part in my decision to work in manufacturing.”
