Chad’s contributions

“Chad is an extremely bright, energetic individual who is a natural leader and an extremely excellent communicator,” said Kevin Falenda, vice president of operations at Net Safety Monitoring Inc. “Chad was able to transition from a newly hired graduate to a manufacturing engineer and then to a manufacturing manager in less than two years. He was a key figure in the implementation of Lean philosophies into the manufacturing department, and in doing so was able to support the company’s requirements to grow from $5 million annually to $22 million annually. He is able to communicate with passion and conviction to all levels of the organization and is a valued asset.”

Why a career in manufacturing?

“I chose manufacturing engineering because at that time in my life I knew I liked math, I was good with my hands, and I needed to make a post-secondary decision quickly! It just seemed to make sense. Now that I’m here, I have come to love it for so many different reasons. Manufacturing represents the point at which concepts and ideas leap off of the page and become real. It is where the ideal design specifications must be achieved amongst a world filled with variation. And if we’re doing our jobs correctly, we manage that variation in the most healthy and profitable manner for both the organization and its employees.”
