The 3-in. and 4-in. FT450 thermostatic trap series has been improved with a fabricated mechanism suitable for industries where both high pressure and high process flows are required. The 3-in. and 4-in. FT450 mechanical ball float trap has a body and cover made of cast carbon steel, thus increasing the trap’s longevity and allowing maximum system efficiency. The trap features a balanced pressure thermostatic air vent available for maximum temperatures of 572 F. Both the head and seat are made of hardened stainless steel with a coating that prevents sticking and resists build-up of precipitants, which can cause leakage.
