Lathe chuck shields by Danray Products LLCLathe chuck shields provide a safeguard between individuals and point-of-operation or rotating hazards, and protect individuals from flying chips, sparks, coolant, lubricant, and other particles. The shield hinges left and rests at a 30-deg angle above the headstock, making it easy to change the chuck or workpiece. The operator doesn’t need to reach over the chuck to move the shield in and out of position. The front portion of the shield can also be hinged up to change the workpiece. These shields comply with OSHA and ANSI safety standards for lathes.
