 Dr. Bernhard Haas, vice president, manufacturing, is responsible for the manufacture of tractor equipment for Deere & Company’s global agricultural equipment operations.
Dr. Haas joined Deere & Company in 1986 at the John Deere Werke Mannheim (Germany), holding several positions of increasing responsibility. He transferred to the John Deere Product Engineering Center in Waterloo, Iowa, in 1991, and returned to the Mannheim factory as Manager of Focus Factory Drive Train in 1994. He later served as Manager, Product Engineering, and was appointed General Manager of John Deere Werke Zweibrücken in 1998. Most recently, Haas was General Manager, John Deere Werke Mannheim.
