A one-piece unit has four geomembrane walls designed to drape over and secure a separate hydrophobic sorbent on the perimeter of a nonpermeable floor with snaps. Interior and exterior sides of the walls are slotted for water and oil entry.

Interior and exterior sides of the walls are slotted for water and oil entry. Oil-only sorbent inside the berm walls picks up hydrocarbons while water passes through.
