Panasonic Electric Works Micro PLC, Panasonic FP0R Series

The FP0R Series from Panasonic Electric Works is a compact micro PLC with 0.08 micro sec step processing speed and many motion functions available in dedicated motion controllers.

 

The device provides 16 or 32k steps program capacity and 32k words data register, equipped with built-in general purpose memory for backing up of all the development source code with notes, comments, variables, etc. Its processing speed is up to 0.08μsec per step (when executing programs up to 3K steps). The FP0R comes standard with 10, 14, 16, or 32 I/O models and is expandable with the standard FP0 expansion units (up to 128 digital I/O points). The FP0R transistor models come with up to 4 axes of built-in pulse outputs for motion applications. pewa.panasonic.com/acsd

Annual Salary Survey

Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.

There were the big events for the year, including the United States as Partner Country at Hannover Messe in April and the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago in September.
