These refillable hydrogen sulfide (H2S) scrubbers and sample conditioning systems remove H2S from natural gas streams at the wellheads, booster stations, and/or pipelines to facilitate the measurement of oxygen and other gases. Specific only to H2S, other components in the gas stream are not affected. H2S scrubber tubes range from 1 to 2.5 in diameter and 6 to 24 in. in length. Inlet and outlet pipe fittings are 1/4 in stainless steel. Maximum allowable pressure is 30 psi/g and maximum temperature is 130 F. Using a 1.5 x 12 in H2S scrubber with 0.01% (100 PPM) H2S present, at 1/3 SCFH (150 sccm) the approximate life of the consumable media is 368 days.
