High-current panel feed-through terminal blocks feature multiple mounting and connection options
Phoenix Contact’s high-current panel feed-through terminal blocks offer multiple mounting and connection options.
Phoenix Contact has expanded its offering of high-current, panel feed-through (PFT) terminal blocks. The new PFT series is available in either universal screw (UW) or ring lug/bolt (RW) connection technology.
The PFT series provides a secure connection across a wide range of wire gauges. The blocks snap into panel cut-outs without special tooling. Screw and rivet options can accommodate high mechanical stability for conductors.
PFT series terminal blocks are especially useful within the telecom and power distribution sectors. The product range also supports electrical device manufacturers of filters, converters, inverters, transformers, power supplies and industrial batteries.
The PFT terminal blocks are rated up to 600 V UL. Electrical current ratings range from 30 to 112 A.

Before the calendar turned, 2016 already had the makings of a pivotal year for manufacturing, and for the world.
There were the big events for the year, including the United States as Partner Country at Hannover Messe in April and the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago in September. There's also the matter of the U.S. presidential elections in November, which promise to shape policy in manufacturing for years to come.
But the year started with global economic turmoil, as a slowdown in Chinese manufacturing triggered a worldwide stock hiccup that sent values plummeting. The continued plunge in world oil prices has resulted in a slowdown in exploration and, by extension, the manufacture of exploration equipment.
