Chandler Engineering’s Model 4300 Fluid Loss Cell is designed to measures the fluid loss properties of muds and cement slurries. It is also designed to eliminate safety issues that have been associated with traditional fluid loss instrument designs. The cell is designed using threaded end caps that eliminate the dangers associated with set screw style cells and pop off valves within the hardware design to prevent over pressure scenarios. The system also incorporates never before used over-temperature circuitry as well as a micro-processor-based temperature controller that eliminates obsolete rheostat temperature adjustments. Redundant over-temperature safety circuitry eliminates the possibility of dangerous overheating, and a digital display allows the operator to accurately display and set the operating temperature with +/- 1 C (+/-2 F).
